Move in Today! POSTHASTE MANOR is available now
Our house is a very, very, very fine house with one dog (& a rat) in the yard life used to be so hard now everything is easy everything is easy everything is easy everything is WHAT THE HELL IS THA-
Hey Ho, 10p Cult!
Happy release day to Jolie Toomajan, Carson Winter, and their cast of hopeless dreamers, wanderers, reprobates, ghosts, cats, murderers and worse; the sadly forsaken and the wisely forgotten, the doomed and the damned alike.
And to the rest of you?
YOU’RE ALL WELCOME AT POSTHASTE MANOR TOO.
NEVER TRUST A HOUSE WITH A NAME
Everyone has a story about Posthaste Manor.
None of the stories end well, but that doesn’t stop the hopeful from hoping and the desperate from trying.
This composite novel stands as both history and eulogy of one very haunted house, as recounted by artists, real estate agents, and beloved family pets; by the debauched, the dead and the dying, and anyone looking for one last chance.
Raise a glass in celebration. Just don't linger within its walls for long.

Bobby Bermea at Oregon ArtsWatch wrote up a wonderful feature on everything that led up to the release of this book
Or you can read Jolie and Carson interview each other, in case you missed that a couple weeks ago.
We’re so damn high on POSTHASTE MANOR fumes that we’re throwing not one, but two release parties for it:
The first is this Saturday, October 21 (6pm PST, 7pm MST, 9pm EST). It’s free, and it’s hosted by our ultra-pal, author/editor/podcast host P.L. McMillan. There’ll be giveaways, live readings and a Q&A with Carson and Jolie, which…look I’m not trying to talk out of school here but Carson literally lives one blue syllable from a lawsuit, and Jolie is somehow even worse, I swear. At the very least she’s vigilantly parked out front of the Winter Express, bucket of lard in hand, greasing up the tracks.
I’m trying to say that things could get messy.
If you’re in the Pacific Northwest, the second release party is this Sunday, though Jolie thank fuckin’ Satan sadly won’t be able to join us for it. It’s hosted by the wonderful folks at the Rose City Book Pub who, three events in, still haven’t banned us. Third time’s the charm maybe.
Not to fear, though! Laura Cranehill will be standing in for Jolie, joining Carson for a paired reading from POSTHASTE MANOR—and reading her own work as well—and Wailana Kalama will be rounding out the night to ensure that all is suitably seasonally spooky.
Next week:
Editor Alex Ebenstein joins us to talk about the next volume of his SPLIT SCREAM series, out Halloween Day!
THANK YOU FOR JOINING THE ALGORITHM—our anti-A.I. initiative/opening salvo of Tenebrous’ magazine (!?)—release date and preorder info!
Some other thing that I know I’m supposed to tell y’all but that has just completely fled my brain!
That’s alright. This is enough. None of us could possibly be expected to handle any more. The world is too much as it is, and you’re all pulling off daily miracles simply by showing up in your dirty sweatpants.
You don’t have to hang out with us Indie Horror Weirdos, and we’re endlessly grateful that you do.
Hail New Weird Horror.
Hail Indie Publishing.
Hail the Dog.
Hail the Rat.
Hail POSTHASTE MANOR.
