10p031: THERE'S MOLD GROWIN' ON EVERYTHING AND DANGER SLATER'S HOUSE OF ROT IS HERE
Release day is here for the book that dares to ask: What have you done to deserve this shitty apartment?
…that’s it, Tenebrous Culto, that’s pretty much the newsletter. HOUSE OF ROT is here, and it is officially an infestation.
You can buy it direct from us; all over the internet; and at the finest indie bookstores worldwide (and if they don’t have it, they can get it! Ask ‘em! They’re nice! THEY WANT TO SELL YOU BOOKS, ESPECIALLY THIS ONE.)
ABOUT HOUSE OF ROT
The pink mold growing on the walls isn’t the worst thing about Elenya and Myles’ brand new fixer upper.
There’s also the inexplicable footsteps in the night; the sealed-over windows and doors; the neighbor that hears their screams but can’t be bothered to help.
Soon, there’s no leaving at all. No hope of cleaning. And that encroaching mold? It’s practically become a second skin.
Welcome to the House of Rot. You’re never getting out.

A peek at some of Echo’s interior work:
Danger’s written somewhere between 9 and, like, 50 books at this point and this is doubtless the most Horror-centric story of his career. He also claims it’s his best work yet, which…ballsy move?
Absolutely.
Shameless sales ploy?
Absolutely.
Is it true?
I mean…look, I’ve only read like five of ‘em, to be fair. (Gimme a break, we’re f&%ing indie publishers, we have to read a lot of stuff.) But it’s definitely my favorite book of his that I’ve read (and I was a huge MOONFELLOWS stan. Hail, MOONFELLOWS!)
Also, these badasses all said nice things about it:
"Beautifully deranged, brilliantly revolting. Commentary that doesn't feel like it: Slater's impressive what-the-fuckery makes for a hell of an experience. It's a recognition that feels like rebellion, and I loved it."
Laurel Hightower, author of Crossroads and Below
"HOUSE OF ROT is the gross, hilarious love child of Kurt Vonnegut and Junji Ito!"
Max Booth III, author of We Need to Do Something and Maggots Screaming!
“A poignant and revolting masterpiece of fungal horror that captures the millennial condition with heartbreaking precision. A phenomenal read.”
Eve Harms, author of Transmuted
So there ya go. Join us. Let’s get rotten.
NEXT STOP, STOKERCON.
Hail the Tenebrous Cult.
Hail Indie Horror.
Hail the HOUSE OF ROT.
